Working Principle: Precise Separation by Controlled Vibration
The operating principle of vibrating screens is based on separating the material according to its size by moving it in a controlled manner on the screen surface:
- A drive mechanism (vibro motor or shaft system) with eccentric weights mounted on the screen body creates a circular or elliptical vibration movement.
- This vibration gives the material on the screen surface both a forward movement and a bouncing motion that allows it to be stratified.
- As the material moves across the screen surface, grains smaller than the mesh aperture of the screen wire fall to the bottom floor or the relevant product chutes.
- Larger particles remain on the sieve surface and move towards the end of the sieve and are directed to the next process or stock area.
- Factors such as the screen inclination angle, vibration amplitude (stroke), speed, and screen mesh type directly affect screening efficiency and capacity. These parameters are precisely adjusted according to the type of material to be processed and the desired product properties.
