Optimized Combustion and High Efficiency
STS Global Makina Rotary Grate Steam Boilers offer maximum efficiency and reliability in industrial steam generation with their automatic fuel feeding and controlled combustion processes. The system transfers coal from the main bunker to the day bunker via augers. Fuel, precisely metered using a load cell, is laid from the distribution bunker onto the grate surface in a corrugated (wavy) pattern. This special laying technique increases the surface area of the fuel, allowing more effective penetration of the combustion air fed from below.
Staged Combustion Technology:
As the coal advances over the grate, it initially heats up, releases its inherent moisture, and begins to gasify. Fresh air is injected into this area through secondary air nozzles to ensure complete combustion of the resulting volatile and flammable gases. The coal, having completed its combustion at the end of the grate, transfers its energy completely to the boiler and is released as slag into the wet slag removal system. This system both cools the slag and prevents harmful gases from escaping into the environment.
Engineering and Material Quality:

Optimum Working Conditions and Safety:
The ideal furnace temperature range in the rotary grate system is approximately 100°C to prevent NOx formation and minimize unburned CO. 850-900°C The furnace structure, insulated with refractory bricks, retains heat, facilitating the boiler's start-up and start-up processes. The furnace's internal temperature is continuously monitored via transmitters, preserving grate life and maintaining system safety at the highest level.
